State-of-the-Art Pet Surgery

At Eastside Animal Hospital, we know how much you love your pet. We’re pet owners, too, so we know that you want nothing more than to enjoy your lives together for as long as possible. Our goal is the same as yours. Our number one priority is to improve your pet’s well-being and keep them in good health for many years to come. Unfortunately, pet surgery may sometimes be required to achieve that goal.

About Our Surgical Services

As a full-service animal hospital, our surgical procedures are conducted in-house with a high standard of anesthetic and surgical safety. Your pet will be assigned their own patient care person, and your pet will remain digitally monitored throughout their procedure. We also have a supervised veterinary assistant working alongside the veterinarian at all times during every pet surgery.

We care for our patients’ surgical needs in our dedicated state-of-the-art surgery suite. Our doctors are trained and equipped to perform all of the basic surgical procedures that your pet may require, such as:

  • Pet Surgery in JeffersonvilleSpaying and neutering

Pet Laser Therapy in JeffersonvillePet Laser Surgery

Our facility is pleased to offer our patients the latest in technology, including laser surgery, for many soft tissue procedures. Surgery with a laser is superior to more traditional methods because a laser incision is bloodless. Lasers also seal off the nerve endings, which helps to minimize pain, bleeding, bacterial infection, and inflammation. This means your pet experiences a much shorter recovery time; they can be back on their feet and resume their normal activity much faster than if they’d been operated on using a scalpel.
