Originally from Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Andrea decided to become a veterinarian at the young age of five years old. After graduating from high school, she obtained a Biochemistry degree from Western Kentucky University, continued her education at Auburn University, and in 2008, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. Andrea has developed an appreciation for all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a particular interest in internal medicine and instituting the most up to date advanced care possible. She is amazed by the human-animal bond and is grateful to be a part of keeping that bond strong as long as possible. Andrea now lives in Sellersburg, Indiana with her husband, Ryan, her daughter, Claire, and son, Malcolm. Her furry family members include Emmit, a 13-year-old terrier mix, and Milhouse, an 8-year-old Yorkipoo, and recently an adopted beautiful beagle Jolene. In her spare time, Andrea loves spending time with her family.
